THE BRIEF

Create a website which complements and reflects the eternally creative output of Brooklyn alt-rockers, The Fiery Furnaces.

THE SOLUTION

"It's like the music you'd hear in Chucky Cheese", is how Matt Friedberger once described the sound of the Fiery Furnaces. For those of you unfamiliar with that particular State-side franchise, just think McDonalds on acid. With such a left-field brief there were many possibilities for the design of this popular site. One thing was certain, it had to be creative and like the Fiery Furnaces, it had to be unlike anything else. With that in mind, the conclusion was obvious... an interactive, early 20th Century showground calliope. What could be simpler?
